I know its Kinda late but, In order to mod a Nintendo DS/NDS Lite you need to be able to utilize a Wireless access point that is compatible with your DS. Then you need to find the software thats is compatible and let the DS download it from the Access Point. Cool I personally like my DS the way it is....<.<....even though its 75% broken...... king geek lol!
